Apples and Pumpkins

We went to Sunrise River Farm to the same apple orchard that we went to last year, only this year we were too late in the season for picking our own. We bought three bags! The apples will be delicious, but I really like picking the apples so next year we will have to make it there on time!

Since we couldn't pick apples, we decided to go to Pinehaven Farm. It's just north of Wyoming a couple miles. Chadd took Ashly to this farm when she was in 3rd grade, but I've never been there before. There were lots of animals to pet and feed and lots of swings and slides for the little ones to play on. Later, after it got dark outside, Ashly went back to Pinehaven with a friend and they went on the Haunted Hayride and Haunted House. She said it was really scarey and really fun. She didn't stop talking for 10 minutes straight after she got home so she was all wired up!

Good job Ashly!

Christopher absolutely loves the slides. But what kid doesn't!!??

Swinging

Tractor ride

More slides!

Train ride. Christopher was scared. He initially sat with Ashly, but kept yelling, "dada, dada" before the train started. So I thought he might feel safe sitting with Chadd. They were able to keep him from crying, but when it was over he ran mighty fast into my arms!

Ashly made a pumpkin face. Cute!

Eating cheese curds and drinking mello yello!
