Picture of a Picture
Trip home
Ashly, Christopher and I went home during MEA (teacher's convention). We had a great trip. We left on Tuesday after school and stayed at Steve and Libby's new house in East Grand Forks. I was being lazy and left my camera in the car so, sorry, I don't have any pictures. Next time! We had fun though, watching PeeWee Herman!!! And Christopher had a blast playing with their cats - Thax and Bowie - it's really too bad I didn't get pictures!
The rest of the trip we stayed at mom and dad's in Langdon. Here Christopher is dressing up in Grandma's necklaces!!! A proud moment for Chadd, I'm sure! Ha!

Wet Dog
I started the bathtub running and left the room for less than two minutes to do something else and Christopher was off playing in his bedroom. Less than two minutes...Chadd goes to the bathroom because he heard something and from the picture above you can see what made it into the bathtub. A couple stuffed animals, a couple blankets, a couple books...two minutes!

The joys of motherhood
Here's Ashly in her homecoming spirit week attire. This was a couple weeks ago.
Well, even though I didn't work today, I spent a good part of my afternoon at the clinic. Dealing with a really, really, really bad diaper rash on Christopher. I couldn't quite figure out if I was just supposed to wait it out and it'll get better eventually and was I overreacting??? Well, it was a gut feeling that I just needed to go to the doctor. So, I decided to go today since I work tomorrow and when the doctor looked at his butt, she said, "Oh no...that is not good." Not exactly what you want to hear, however, made me feel good that I made the right choice to go to the doctor. So long story almost over...we got three creams - antifungal, antibacterial and a steriod. The doctor said it'll take a week before it'll clear up, so I wish his bottom well!!! And Ashly got the flu shot today. Three down, one to go...that's you, Chadd!!!

Apples and Pumpkins
We went to Sunrise River Farm to the same apple orchard that we went to last year, only this year we were too late in the season for picking our own. We bought three bags! The apples will be delicious, but I really like picking the apples so next year we will have to make it there on time!
Since we couldn't pick apples, we decided to go to Pinehaven Farm. It's just north of Wyoming a couple miles. Chadd took Ashly to this farm when she was in 3rd grade, but I've never been there before. There were lots of animals to pet and feed and lots of swings and slides for the little ones to play on. Later, after it got dark outside, Ashly went back to Pinehaven with a friend and they went on the Haunted Hayride and Haunted House. She said it was really scarey and really fun. She didn't stop talking for 10 minutes straight after she got home so she was all wired up!
Good job Ashly!
