Wis Dells

We went to Wisconsin Dells again this year during Ashly's spring break from school. We stayed at the Great Wolf Lodge which was where we stayed last year. We all agreed it was our favorite. One of the reasons we like it so well is the awesome ride called the "Howlin Tornado" It beats them all! Also, the rooms are close to the waterpark and it has all you need without being too large: wave pool, lazy river, hottubs, pools, mat slides, tube slides, kiddie pools. We got there on Wednesday evening and just as we got to the wave pool one of Ashly's friends was there! That worked out good so that night and Thursday morning Ashly had someone to go on rides with. Also, our neighbors were vacationing at a different waterpark called the Wilderness and wanted to get together for dinner. On Thursday eve we met them at Applebee's and had a nice meal.

Relaxing in the hotel room, eating puffcorn.

There was an area with crafts and other stuff for little kids (although Christopher is still too little for that) and there was this slide. At first Christopher was scared, but then he loved it!

We went to the arcade in the hotel and the bright lights and flashing games were overwhelming for Christopher. He didn't know what to think!

It was a little too much stimulation. He didn't get real excited on the ride.

We can still get away with pushing buttons and watching the flashing lights without actually playing the game yet so going to the arcade with a one year old doesn't cost much!

Hanging out in the kiddie pool.

Domino's cinnastix...Ashly's favorite!!!

Hot chicken kickers....Chadd's favorite!!!

The entry way to our room.

How many pickles did Christopher eat that day??? Something like 4????

At the Tanger Outlet Mall. Christopher loved the carousel!

He thought all the rides were pretty fun!

Christopher constantly got the remote and the phone. We ended up unplugging the room phone and just let him play with it!

And the fireplace! The only thing we couldn't babyproof and he was always climbing on it. Luckily, we walked away from the whole deal without any blood, tears or stitches! Our bathroom was huge so we put everything in there (bags, garbage, etc) and closed the door so he didn't have much left to get into.

The luggage cart...it's really impossible to get anything done with him, but he's so cute that makes up for it!

This is the wave pool. Christopher spent most of his time in the shallow end of this. He was content. The waterpark was not busy until Friday. It made a big difference to go during the week.
