Wedding Bells

Off to Jen and Blake's wedding. Congratulations!!! We wish you a long, happy, children-filled, did I say happy??? marriage!!! We love you!!!

Boots

It's been so nice this summer dressing Christopher with onsies and barefeet. Now we have to face the cold and start buddling up! First step was to get something to keep his feet warm. I found these cute little boots at Target. They have soft soles so they aren't for walking yet, but they'll be perfect to slip on his feet when going outside for now. It won't be long before we'll be shopping for real shoes. I have a winter coat for him, but am still on the search for a snowsuit.

Got a big boy car seat. My baby is growing up! I'm ok with that, every new stage is fun and exciting.

Glad the weekend is over

I worked a double shift on Saturday and Sunday. Let's just say that was not fun, and I hope I don't have to do that for a long time again. Chadd, Ashly and Christopher spent the weekend with Grandma and Grandpa Larson and the rest of the family. Sounds like they had a good time.

Christopher seems like his ears are better now. Looks like he is getting a top front tooth. Cute! He's crawling around more than ever now. He keeps himself busy. I dressed him up today for daycare because it was picture day there. Some of the daycare gals commented how grown up he looked all dressed up! I will buy the pictures if I like them. We didn't have to preorder, so we'll see.

Ashly is dressing up everyday for homecoming week at school...pajama day, twin day, neon day, spirit day.

We picked up mine and Ashly's bridesmaids dresses from David's Bridal for the final time today. We are excited for Blake and Jennie's wedding this weekend in Fargo.

Impala number 2

Today we went to three dealerships and I test drove a Chevy Impala and Traverse and a couple Nissan Maximas. After a big day of car shopping I came home with Impala number 2! It's way more exciting than you think - I got the top of the line 2009 LTZ model with all the bells and whistles. She's a beauty - my personal favorite - the leather heated seats!!! Bring it on winter, I'm ready for you now!!! A few other perks are bluetooth phone connection, (I can use my cell phone hands free) sun roof, remote car start and look at those beautiful 18 inch wheels! Thanks to Chadd's bartering skills (which I think he could hire himself out as a professional) and our GM credit card, we walked away with a good deal.

Roses

We had a nice anniversary! Three years and each year just keeps getting better!

Ashly got to play soccer in the rain today. She plays goalie most the time. The Rangers are doing great this year. Today the score was 10 to 1. Also, I would like to congratulate Ashly on getting into the student council. There were many applicants and the students had to get permission slips signed by the parents and a teacher that approved. She'll have fun planning events and being involved with the school. I hope she likes it because I think there is more to school than sports.

Christopher had some sad eyes at daycare when I picked him up today, but he made it! Poor little guy. Hope he continues to feel better. This ear infection thing is a bummer.

Chadd and I are off to do some car shopping tomorrow! How exciting! I had to turn in the Camry tonight. I'm ok with that. I never really bonded with my Missouri car, Chadd said that it is because I'm still grieving ReyRey. I may not be ready to start a new relationship yet. I'll take it slow tomorrow :)
