Busy Doing Stuff

Christopher pushed this chair from the livingroom to the kitchen so he could reach the light switch, turn it off, and play with a flashlight in the dark! He loves playing with flashlights ever since they had "flashlight" day at daycare!

He is always trying on our shoes! He couldn't make these boots work for him!

Another thing he likes to do is dump out all his toys, turn the buckets upside down and sit on them!

Here he is looking at the ads! Christmas is going to be very exciting for him this year!

Eating and looking at ads, kinda like what the grown ups do!

Thanksgiving 2010

Happy Thanksgiving! It was so great to see these pictures of Chadd's family. (Thanks Chadd!!!). I missed my family and I hope they all had a great holiday celebrating at my brother's house in East Grand Forks.

In the middle of this picture is Christian...home for the holidays from his first year in College! This is Chadd's cousin. He's enjoying college in Montana and I heard had plenty of fun stories to tell!

There's my boys at the end of the table! (Thanks for taking the picture, Mike! Nice hair!)

Christopher's 2nd Thanksgiving....yum, yum!

I asked Chadd to bring me home a piece of pumpkin pie. I didn't remind him that morning because I wanted to see if he remembered. Well, he passed the test! (Thanks Chadd!). This pumpkin pie was made by Chadd's aunt Vickie. It was delicious Vickie! Thanks!

One more closer look at MY piece of pie.

Ok....after dinner festivities. Of course, retiring to the livingroom and start in the on the black friday ads!

Here is something new they tried this year. Apparently each kid had a color sticky tab and they marked the pages with stuff they wanted on them! Funny!

And then Chadd brought out the chips and dip...and Christopher loves it!

Dipping his chip...he doesn't have the etiquette down yet. There was lots of double and triple dipping!

Chadd insisted...here I am eating my pie! (Yes, there is pie under that coolwhip!)

Looooong Icky Weekend

Well, I am on day 5 and I am finally at 90%. What a long and icky weekend. It first started at 5am on Friday morning when I wished my husband happy 37th birthday and went off to work. Chadd went hunting in Wisconsin over the weekend with his dad and Mike. I was going to do a birthday blog, but that didn't happen.

I had to take Ashly to help with Turkey Bingo at the school from 5-9pm on Friday evening. She was helping with the fundraiser because she is on student council. I went there for a little while and played bingo, but didn't win. Had lots of fun though. And Christopher liked all the attention from Ashly's friends, the chocolate chip cookie and hotdog! He even got to bring home that beach ball you see in the pictures. If they only knew how that ball made his day!

Then Ashly got sick on Friday night....then I got sick on Saturday night....so, so, so lucky that Christopher didn't get it. I haven't been that sick in a long time. And I have to thank Ashly for being so wonderful helping with Christopher on Sunday and Monday. It's hard to be a mom and be sick.

Christopher's new thing is to walk around in mama's shoes

Here's the beach ball he got at Turkey Bingo

We are playing the "where's turtle?" game.

Giving the turtle some lovin!

Look at that spoon!

Sharing ice cream with sister is the best ever!

Reading a book on his couch.

Well, now that I finally feel better I get to spend the next four days at work! Happy Thanksgiving to everyone - eat lots for me since I will not get Thanksgiving this year.

Goggles

I just recently got out some tools that Chadd's sister gave to Christopher a long time ago. He is really good at not putting things in his mouth so even with the smaller parts he can play with it now. However, the one thing he really likes from the bag of tools is the goggles!!! He wears them around for long periods of time mostly on his forehead.

Sunday Fun

Here we are on the way to Lauren's Birthday party. Christopher and Ashly are watching a movie on the DVD player with the wireless headset.

Christopher had so much fun playing at the birthday party. He really enjoyed playing with the little people. He doesn't have much of those at home yet. And of course, he was attached to this orange ball the whole time! He liked playing catch with anybody that would participate.

Here's the kids breaking the pinata.

All the candy fell on their heads!

Here's Rose, Jackie and Ashly - and Lauren sitting down. Happy 9th Birthday to Lauren!

Here's the snowman that Ashly and her friend made on Saturday eve. Cute!
