Playing ball

Like I've said before, Christopher LOVES balls!

Building blocks

Christopher is getting better at building with his mega blocks. At first he could only take them apart, but now he is learning how to put them together. It's so neat watching him develop these skills!

It's a hot day here today. Chadd went on a motorcylce ride with Dave to Wisconsin. Ashly went to the Mall of America with a friend yesterday and went on rides. Then her and that same friend babysat together until 1am for 3 year old twins. Today Ashly biked into Forest Lake with some friends and they are hanging out at the beach. And that leaves me and Cman, well, we just hung out at the house today. Lots of playing...legos, ball, trucks, swing under the deck...so much fun!!!

Playing around

As you could guess, Christopher loves playing outside. It's quite challenging as our yard is not set up as a baby proof area. The front yard, he will run out into the street and the backyard has a big hill so he falls. I still make sure we have time to play out there, but it tires me out because I cannot even look away from him for one second! Playing on the deck with the stairs blocked off and going to the park are much safer options, so I make sure to do that all the time!

Christopher isn't much of a cuddler, but I take every moment I can with him if he is willing to sit with me!

Friday eve

We had a fun evening just hanging out at home. It's beautiful outside! Chadd grilled corn on the cob and Ashly and Christopher are eating it the "toddler and braces" way - off the cob!!!

One Year Pictures

Yesterday we got Christopher's one year pictures taken at Target Portrait Studios. He has been a little sick the last couple days so he wasn't feeling real well for the shoot. We still got some good shots inbetween the whining and tears! It was still great!
