Sprinkler

Last weekend was beautiful outside.  Christopher enjoyed running in the sprinkler and using his water guns.

Snoozing Spider Monkey

What you see here is the opposite of why our sweet little Chester has been nicknamed "Spider Monkey" by Chadd.  He flies through the house when he is in a playful mood.  He loves playing with shoelaces and strings. 

 He's so cute when he is sleeping!

Congratulations to Ashly on her first job!  She works at the Dairy Queen.  I hope she has a great experience there :)

Track 2012

 We went to the Track banquet last evening for Ashly.  Here is a picture she took of some of her friends.

 Here are the "jumpers."  Her coach is in the purple shirt.  They are receiving their awards in this picture.

I am very proud of Ashly for lettering in the triple jump!  Next year will be fun to see if she can beat her own record.  Great job Ashly!!!

Vegas 2012

 Chadd and I had a great getaway to Vegas over Memorial Day weekend.  Behind us on the picture is the hotel Treasure Island where we stayed.

 We spent one evening downtown Freemont Street.  This is the light show above us.

 We went to the Mob Museum and learned so much about how the Mob got started and who the big players were and how they were eventually brought down.  Naturally, Chadd thought he would enjoy a seat....in the electric chair!!  hahaha!!  Kind of a freaky picture, right?!

We were part of a line up.  I've seen it on the movies, but I never want to be in that line for real!

Walk the Line

Christopher said, "Mommy, I'm gonna draw a BIG line!"

This is my attempt at drawing bumble bees because we were singing the song, "I'm bringing home my baby bumble bee.  Won't my mommy be so proud of me."

Sleepy Chester

Welcome Chester!!!

We are happy to welcome Chester into the family!  We picked him up at the Delta Cargo warehouse around 7pm on Wednesday.  He flew in on Alaskan Airlines from Seattle, Washington.  He was shaking and scared when we got him but I held him in the parking lot and he purred.  He liked us immediately!

He has adapted well to his new home!

He is very playful.  He is 3 months old.  I took him to the vet yesterday and he is healthy and weighs 6 pounds.

One of his favorite spots is under our bed.  He has ventured all around the upstairs, but as of now (Friday eve) he hasn't gotten up the courage to go downstairs yet!  Soon I know he will.  He is so cuddly and friendly and loves to be around people.  He will climb right up on our laps and want to be petted!  He has the best personality!
