Blizzardy Day

It's a snowy, blizzardy day and we don't have to be anywhere! So we are just enjoying some family time. When Christopher woke up this morning we opened yet another early Christmas present for him to play with...Chadd bought this one!

We went to Chadd's work Christmas party last night. It was a nice night out. First we went to his boss's house for some preparty appetizers. Then the party was at Jax Cafe. There was an ugly Christmas sweater contest and a comedic slide show (that made fun of Chadd three times specifically!!!) Got home before the snow hit!

Climbing and Rocking

One night I was blogging and I turned around after a long time and the kids were asleep in the chair! So cute!

Christopher is Ashly's little buddy. He is also saying, "sissy, sissy" If she is not home, he is asking for her.

We bought this wooden chest to put by our coats and Christopher had fun playing inside it as Chadd and Ashly tried to put it together.

Here's another early Christmas present from me to Christopher! His own little rocking chair. They were a good deal at Fleetfarm! (and Chadd puts things together in no time at all!)

Sleeping and Sledding

Sleeping so soundly with four of his favorite stuffed animals: cookie monster, rat, eeyore and puppy! And his favorite ducky blanket too!

After I ran him down the street in the sled, we stopped for a picture and he kept saying "stuck, stuck" and he wanted to get out and he never got back in the sled. So I'm thinking one more year until he appreciates the joys of sledding.

Deck the Halls

We got our Christmas tree up on Saturday. Ashly helped me do it while Christopher was taking his nap. We put it downstairs again this year with limited ornaments for the little hands! Every year I love seeing my tree topper Angel. It was my grandma and grandpas from their tree and it brings back lots of special memories of Christmas time growing up!

Santa Breakfast

We set our alarm clocks this morning so we could get to the Southdale Mall in Edina in time for breakfast with Santa at Macy's! It's a Larson tradition and Christopher is at such a fun age to enjoy this sort of thing.

They had balloon animals. The balloon animal lady made puppies and reindeer antlers for the kids.

There was also face painting. The girls got a snowflake on the cheek and the boys got a Rudolph nose!

Christopher loved wearing what was left of Ashly's balloon reindeer antlers around the house this afternoon, until they were no more!
