Excitement

I don't think there was a happier little boy in the whole entire world when we told Christopher he got to ride the four wheeler tonight and help daddy clear the snow off the driveway! He was jumping up and down with excitement!

Time to hit the pinata. For a challenge, Chadd's idea was to use a stick instead of a bat. No one ended up getting it open that way, but they sure had a lot of fun trying.

Finally, Chadd had the kids punch Spongebob with their fists. That eventually did the trick and he dumped it upside down. Yeah!

Opening gifts. So many nice gifts - thank you everyone! Ashly got to go on a "shopping spree" and got some nice clothes from Nana and others.

Christopher was Grandpa's buddy all weekend. He loved to play with his hotwheels cars and ramp with him!

Bowling. Christopher was finally old enough to give it a whirl. He liked it, except he was more interested in staying in the arcade the whole evening.

Birthday Boy

Happy Birthday to Christopher yesterday, February 9th. My buddy is three years old! Wow!

He was sent home from daycare with pink eye on Tuesday :( Lots of kids had it and it was spreading like wildfire so the doctors were booked and were just giving prescriptions over the phone without appointments. He is doing fine now and no one else in the house got it, yeah!

Potty training is going.... He is doing fairly well staying dry. Nap time and night time still require a pull up...and "dropping a deuce" in the potty chair ain't happening yet, so lucky mom gets to clean up a lot of messes! Needless to say, it will get better soon, this is only a temporary, but necessary phase! Deep breath!

Wilderness Weekend

Ashly and Chadd ventured to the Wisconsin hunting land for a day in the wild. They even enjoyed a fire and cooked their meal over it (ummm...garlic toast?). Sounds like they had a good time!
