Happy Halloween 2011

We had a great night trick or treating. Christopher and his friend, Braden, had some pizza and cookies then got dressed up as firefighters!

Eating the cookies!

Firefighter Larson reporting to duty!

Cheers! My friend, Jamie and I, about to tackle the night trick or treating with TWO TWO-YEAR-OLDS!!!!! Let's just say we all had fun, but it did end in tears! We had 86 trick or treaters and Chadd did a great job handing out candy (not that Chadd would be the type of person to count or anything....!) Ashly had fun with some friends. They rented some movies at blockbuster and walked around the neighborhood some. It was her first year that she didn't dress up.

....but we were safe from fire! :)

MEA trip

We had a great trip to my hometown, Langdon, during teachers convention. Here we are at a truck stop and Christopher is "driving" a semi-truck!

We went to the bakery for lunch on Friday. They have the best subs in the world! It brought back memories. I haven't had one of those in years!

Christopher got a cupcake.

Happy Halloween! Here's our skeletons from mom.

Ryland

Noah

I had a nice "birthday" dinner. Thanks everyone!

Brittany, Taylor (Ashly's friend came with us), Jordyn and Ashly carving pumpkins.

We had so much fun with the boys! Christopher got jealous anytime I held one of the babies!

Full Circle

Chadd says life has come full circle for him. He remembers when he kept bugging his dad to fix an antique toy car he had, now Christopher has asked him twice to fix this broken truck! First, I stepped on it and broke it. I felt real bad so I offered that "Daddy can fix it." Then several months later, the fix broke and Christopher says, "Daddy can fix it!" He brought it to Chadd all by himself when he got home from work and asked Chadd to fix it. Full circle...glad we could have a moment where life makes sense and seeing the small things in life actually are the grand things that make life worth living....keep on truckin' !!!

Apple Orchard

This year we wanted to make sure that we got to pick apples! Last year we were too late for the picking and we had to settle for just buying a few bags.

Besides apples, there were bikes to ride, a swingset, wagons, goats, donkeys, chickens, and baby kitties!

Ashly was ambitious and would climb to get a good apple!

I got a picture of everyone eating an apple

We picked three types of apples: Zestar, Fireside and my favorite Sweet Sixteens

Fall Fun

We had a great weekend with Steve and Libby. Thanks so much for coming to "visit"!!!

We went to Pinehaven Pumpkin Patch on Saturday morning...then off to IKEA in the afternoon.

Swinging fun

Ohhhhh...scary ghosts!

We commented how this reminded us of a scene from "Revenge of the Nerds" movie!

The big slide!

Fun choo choo train ride

On our way to pick out a pumpkin!

So many choices!

Some really weird looking goats.

Mommy helped Christopher make a face on his little pumpkin.

Steve talking man-to-man about G.I. Joes to Christopher!

Libby did a wonderful job dyeing and cutting Ashly's hair.

Christopher busy reading his book.
