Bruno

Bruno is the town dog of Longville. Both years we were in Longville for vacation he was roaming the town and resort. He's really friendly. As we were walking around, others would say, "Who's dog is this?" Chadd would just jump in and say, "Oh, this is Bruno, he's the town dog, he just wanders around." BTW...we don't really know that, we made it up, seems like a good story!!!

Fun Vacation Moments

More pictures of hanging out at Girl Lake Resort last week.

Ice Cream Cones

It's been a tradition (well, the two times we've stayed at Girl Lake Resort) to make our own ice cream cones in Longville. It has proven to be humorous since last year the cone I made, the ice cream fell off and I had to catch it in my bare hands. We had quite a few laughs. Then this year, Chadd made a cone for Ashly and she was holding onto Christopher to see if he wanted a lick and the ice cream fell off the cone onto Christopher. I would have loved to have a picture of that, but I was busy with the recovery efforts. Christopher didn't find it real amusing!

Turtle Races in Longville

Grandma and Grandpa Larson (Chadd's parents) came to join the fun at Girl Lake and stayed with us on Tuesday night. They got in on the annual Longville Turtle Races. The races are done every Wednesday during the summer. Ashly did the races last year. This year Christopher was contestant #40 and Ashly was contestant #69. Neither of them won...their turtles just sat there! It was fun to watch. Ashly played some games too, but she's almost too old for them! As you can see in the picture, Christopher is crying behind the turtle picture. He bonked his head, it's so cute if you blow up the picture and look at that precious sad face!!!
