Hopper and Flowers

Our neighbor and Christopher's friend had a jumpy castle or as Chris calls it a "hopper" for his birthday party.  All the neighbors got to enjoy it.  Chris had a blast!

 Ashly and I decided to plant our tiny arrangement of flowers.  Hope we can make them last!!!

Ticklish Turtle

 Christopher and Chadd found a turtle in our backyard.

 Chadd told Christopher that he could hold it and Christopher kept his distance.  When Chadd prodded him to hold it, he responded, "No, I can't hold the turtle.  The turtle is ticklish!"

They had it in the swimming pool for a little while, but put it back in the swamp where it belonged!

Look how big!

Look how big Chester is getting already!  The breeder sent us more pictures.  I can't wait to get him.  He's going to be so big when we get him, but it's fun to see him growing. We are told  he likes to sit on his hind paws like a meerkat.  Oh so cute!!!

Chester Ruger Larson

Happy Mother's Day to me!!!  I am so excited that Chadd is giving me a new baby for a Mother's Day gift.  Chester is a pixiebob -  half bobcat, half cat.  He was born on Feb 20th in Washington and we will get him right after Memorial Day Weekend.  Pixiebobs recognize their name, can be taught to play fetch and walk on a leash like a dog.  Chester's breeder said she thinks he will mostly likely get to be around 20 pounds. And he has massivly huge paws!!!  He will be a big kitty!!!  Chester has been born and raised around children and is super friendly.  The breeder said he acts like a macho male and tries to be brave, but will melt in your arms when you start petting him and will purr like crazy.  I can't wait to meet him!!!

School Carnival

 We took Christopher to the elementary school carnival last night.  He loved playing all the games!  And he is pretty good at them too!
