Scratching post fun

Chester has been such a good kitty with his claws.  He hasn't scratched any of us (other than when he used Chadd's back as a launching pad!)  It looks like we won't have to declaw him since he's so good!  He likes his scratching post!

Rain, Rain go away

It's been raining here alot lately so why not have a little fun with it!?  Christopher had fun with his raincoat, rainboots and umbrella!

 Chester gets them!!!  It was fun to watch Chester go after the cars.  He bats them around with his paws a little, then loses interest.  It's really the thrill of the chase, once he gets them it's not so much fun anymore!

Father's Day 2012

Father's Day from the eyes of a 3 year old:

This is the paper Chris brought home from daycare. It was fill in the blank.

My dad's name is Chadd
He is 2 years old.
My dad is really good at kissing.
My dad likes to eat spicy beans.
My favorite thing to do with my dad is play cars.
My dad is the best because when I get hurted he fixes my owie.

We told Christopher several times yesterday to say "Happy Father's Day!"  Today when I picked him up from daycare he asked me, "Is today happy father's day?"  I said, "No, that was yesterday."  He said, "I really like happy father's day!"

Car Races

We went to the Elko Speedway on Saturday night.  It was fun to see Christopher experience his first races.  (just like Lightening McQueen!).  He was so excited all evening he was jumping around.

This picture of course (photographer: Chadd) is of the lovely camel that Christopher and Jackie took a ride on.  He is peeing and I was told this should go on the blog.  I'm sure you all have enjoyed that picture, now let's move on!

 Christopher wasn't scared at all.  He had a blast on the camel.

Chris loved the mascot.  He sat with him a couple times, sat in the car by himself a couple times and gave hugs and high fives to the mascot several times.

Sponge Bob

We got Spongebob wall stickers for Christopher's room.  He had fun putting them on his wall so now every night when he goes to bed we can say good night to Squidward, Patrick, Gary and Spongebob and Mr. Krabs!  So much fun!
