Chester Ruger Larson

Happy Mother's Day to me!!!  I am so excited that Chadd is giving me a new baby for a Mother's Day gift.  Chester is a pixiebob -  half bobcat, half cat.  He was born on Feb 20th in Washington and we will get him right after Memorial Day Weekend.  Pixiebobs recognize their name, can be taught to play fetch and walk on a leash like a dog.  Chester's breeder said she thinks he will mostly likely get to be around 20 pounds. And he has massivly huge paws!!!  He will be a big kitty!!!  Chester has been born and raised around children and is super friendly.  The breeder said he acts like a macho male and tries to be brave, but will melt in your arms when you start petting him and will purr like crazy.  I can't wait to meet him!!!

                                                             Look at his huge paw!

Chester is the one in the middle.

We took Christopher to the elementary school carnival last night.  He loved playing all the games!  And he is pretty good at them too!

Archery and Rock Climbing

We went to Nate's 11th birthday party on Saturday.  We all had a great time!  Here Christopher and I are playing catch with a ball in the amphitheater at Fort Snelling.
The kids went rock climbing.  Here is Ashly.

They also tested their skills at archery.  Everyone had so much fun!

Happy Easter 2012

Happy Easter to all my family and friends. Here is Christopher with his bunny ears and egg he made at daycare.

Here are the kids coloring easter eggs.
Easter morning....seeing what the easter bunny brought!
What's that? Looks like a Monster Truck with really loud buttons!
Somebody is pretty happy about the easter basket!!!
What's in the egg?
Ohhhh...here's the photographer!
Chocolate!!!
Yummy
Yummy
Yummy

Got thirsty...too much chocolate!
That's what is left of the poor chocolate bunny

I guess the easter bunny even left some chocolate and loot for the teenager in the house!

Tribute to Gabriella

I can't even begin to explain how my heart hurts today. A coworker and friend of mine's beautiful baby daughter passed on yesterday. They are in my thoughts and prayers as I try to imagine how much faith, support and courage my friend will need to endure this type of pain. Gabby was her daddy's princess, and she will be a princess always and forever.
