Wisconsin Cabin

Here is the cabin that was built on our Wisconsin Hunting Land. We had someone build it and Chadd and Dave painted it. I think it looks good! Now they need to work on the inside. This will be Chadd's mancave! I hope he enjoys many years filled with many good times at the cabin with his friends and eventually with his son.

Wyoming Stagecoach Days

This morning we went to Wyoming Stagecoach Days. First was the kiddie parade. It was kinda spontaneous to join in so it was a good thing I had a costume in cue. Here is my little fireman!

The little girl in the princess dress offered to hold Christopher's hand while they walked.

Next, after the parade, Christopher jumped in the hopper's for over an hour. He had a blast!
There was a boy from daycare that he played with for awhile.

He's not afraid of anything!

This is a cool firetruck! He didn't want to sit in it though.

We also played games like a ring toss, basketball throw, pick a ducky, hockey, and horse shoe toss. He won a couple prizes including a ball and a puppy stuffed animal. The games were sponsored by the Wyoming Elementary PTA. We also rode on the Stagecoach pulled by horses. Christopher grinned ear to ear during the ride. He thought it was pretty cool to be pulled by horseys! Tonight there will be fireworks to watch at dusk. What a fun day!

Meeting Noah

I was ecstatic to meet Noah for the first time. He is adorable!

He was so wide awake and alert. I loved holding him!

Noah and Mommy!

Getting ready to have his first bath. I had so much fun being there for his first bath adventure!

Just a little cat nap before he gets wet!

He seemed to like the bath.

He's so tiny! I love it!

Thanks to Jennie and Blake for letting me stay. I had a great time with Noah and I am so happy for you! He is precious!

Fireman

Ready for rain or fire! He is obsessed with firetrucks right now so I just couldn't resist getting this. I think it could double as a halloween costume!

Tummy Truck and More Pickles

What do you have on your tummy?

A monster truck, of course!

Last weekend was another pickling event sponsored by Chadd! He got close to hundred jars of pickles, habanero pickles, jalapeno pickles, garlic pickles, sugar pickles, just plain old dill pickles, pickled beans and pickled peppers! It's quite a project. I don't quite share the same passion for pickling that Chadd does, but it's pretty entertaining. And I'm impressed at how many jars he has made. Some of the jars lost their seal after a couple days....so we had some casualties. Everybody is getting pickles for Christmas! Ha ha!

New - pickled beans!

Pickles peppers - they look kinda cool in the jar!
