Blazing Blaine Days

Since I work all through the 4th of July weekend, my wonderful husband had a good idea that we should go to a fair last Sunday. What a great idea! Christopher had his second pony ride ever! And he loved every minute of it. He also enjoyed looking at the other animals in the petting zoo - they had a zebra, llamas, goats, camels, etc.

He loved the hopper! Sometimes they have one at daycare so he knows all about them and wasn't scared one bit, even with all the other kids in there!

And the giant slide was fun. It even made me scream! We went a little airborne on that last bump!

Just Like Daddy!

Christopher mows the lawn, "just like daddy!" He was so proud!

Chadd is the proud new owner of a 5500 watt portable generator! He is planning on using this during hunting season in Wisconsin. More power than he needs, but such a good deal he couldn't afford not to buy it thanks to Craig's List!!!

Saturday evening we made kabobs. Chadd grilled them. I thought I would recruit Christopher to help. He got so into it! It was serious business to him!

Adventure Park

Last rainy Wednesday, we had a playdate with Christopher's friend, Braden, and my friend, Jamie. We went to the indoor Adventure Park. The boys had a blast! This triple slide was a hit for Christopher. He went up and down and up and down until his face was dripping with sweat.

The drinking fountains were a novelty.

This is the toddler area. Christopher liked being in this area too, although he could do pretty much everything in the big area all by himself.

Even I went down the slides. They were fast. It was fun even for adults.

The boys at snacktime! Time for a much needed break. They played hard from about 9:45 to 12:30!

There's Jamie, Braden, Ashly and Christopher. We will definately be going back to this indoor park. It was a hit! And it is only $5 for as long as you want. It's about 20 minutes from our home so I think it will be a great way to release toddler energy this winter now that he can do most everything independently.

Melissa's Graduation

Saturday evening we went to Melissa's (Chadd's relative) graduation party. Congratulations to Melissa finishing high school in Maple Grove. She will be going to Bethel College next year. We wish her the best! The party was fun. Here is Christopher and Emily playing together.
